Coffee Lounge

Hermitage FM is the only Community Radio Station in the UK to operate a Community Coffee Lounge.

This not-for-profit project partly funds the radio station, so every cup of our high-quality Italian coffee you drink helps keep your local community radio station on air! Everyone is welcome to come along and have a coffee and a chat. Listen out for our upcoming social events - from live music to Scrabble Club.

We are staffed mainly by volunteers, many of whom have learning difficulties, disabilities or mental health issues, or are long-term unemployed. We support local people to develop catering and food preparation skills, build confidence, gain relevant work experience, and be part of a friendly, exciting project that benefits the whole community.

Find us below our broadcast studios in Memorial Square, next to the Clock Tower in Coalville - Tuesday to Saturday, 9-3.
